We are currently seeking new members to join our Board of Directors.

Why volunteer at Spectra?

Our volunteers play an important role in our work. We value lived experience, curiosity, and a willingness to learn just as much as formal skills or qualifications. We aim to create a supportive environment where volunteers feel welcomed, respected and able to contribute in ways that feel right for them.

What volunteering can involve (examples)

Volunteer roles vary over time, but have included:

  • Reception and admin support
  • Data input support
  • Outreach support
  • Social media support
  • Fundraising support

Roles depend on service need and capacity to supervise.

Support, training and accessibility

We’re committed to making volunteering as accessible and inclusive as possible. If you need adjustments or support to take part, we’re always happy to have a conversation.

When volunteering reopens (what you can do)

When we reopen volunteering recruitment, we’ll share opportunities on our website and social channels. Please check back on this page for updates.
