Looking for a volunteering opportunity? Join our volunteering team!
We are looking for people like you to help us keep providing quality HIV prevention, awareness and support services, and sexual health information, to our communities in Central and West London.
Our volunteers undertake roles in different settings: they help us with our office duties (data input, condom packing) and/or during outreach and testing sessions, by engaging with our potential clients and encouraging them to benefit from our free of charge services. These are skills that will enhance your CV.
Volunteering is also a good opportunity to meet new people that have the same interests and passion for health and wellbeing as you. During your volunteering, you will be in touch with other volunteers and members of staff from Spectra, and from other organisations.
As a peer led organisation, we encourage volunteering applications from people that want to give something back to their own communities.
We have different volunteer opportunities available and training will be provided, so even if you don’t have a background in our field we will still welcome your application.
If you are interested in volunteering with us and would like to find out more about what volunteering roles we have available and how to join our team, please get in touch with us. We look forward to hearing from you!
We are looking for people have passion, experience and skills to fulfill the the following roles:

Note: Being a Spectra volunteer, you may work with potentially vulnerable people. All our volunteers will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks (previously CRB checks). Having a criminal conviction does not necessarily bar you from you volunteering with us. We consider each application on it’s own merit.
