Free online trainings for Sexual Health Week (15–21 September)
In celebration of Sexual Health Week, Spectra is delivering a series of free online professional trainings. Open to all professionals interested in enhancing their understanding of sexual health and wellbeing for clients from varied backgrounds.
Equip professionals to support diverse sexual health needs
At Spectra, we are committed to inclusive sexual health education and equitable access to health services. Our Sexual Health Week professional trainings will provide professionals with practical skills to work effectively with diverse and marginalised communities across London. These interactive sessions are insightful, engaging, and immediately applicable.
Training schedule:
- 15 September, 11am – 12pm – General Sexual Wellbeing: Explore holistic approaches to sexual health, including mental health, relationships, and consent.
- 17 September, 11am – 12pm – Contraception: Learn about different methods and access pathways. We will discuss inclusive conversations and tailoring advice for clients with complex health or social circumstances.
- 18 September, 11am – 12pm – Hepatitis: Understand hepatitis types, transmission, prevention, and treatment. Support clients at higher risk, including migrants, people who inject drugs, and those with limited healthcare access.
- 19 September, 11am – 12pm – HIV Awareness: Gain practical tools to support clients living with or at risk of HIV. Learn how to challenge stigma and provide effective care.
How to register
You can register for any of the sessions via Eventbrite. Once you’ve booked the sessions you want to attend, you will receive a confirmation email including an Eventbrite link where the training will take place.
