Spectra wants to say a big thank you and farewell to two of our Board Directors, who are leaving Spectra to focus on other initiatives.
Ruth Dixon (she/her) has been on the Spectra board since early 2017 and has played a vital role in its good governance over the years. A team player, Ruth has taken responsibility for governance in her areas of expertise, including research and overall management. Ruth was our Interim CEO from August through November this past year, helping us hold the organisation between transitioning from our founder and CEO Karen Skipper, (she/her) leaving us and our new CEO, Joel Robinson, (he/him), starting in role. We want to thank Ruth for everything she has done for Spectra over the years and wish her well for the future.
Ramses Underhill-Smith (he/him) has also been on the Spectra board since early 2017. He has played an important part in the board, helping us with a range of topics and issues over the years. Ramses has also been a key mover around the Trans Learning Partnership and sits on the Steering Group for this partnership as a community rep for Spectra. We wish Ramses all the very best for the future and want to thank him for his motivated and steady commitment to all things Spectra over the years.
