Dee Wang (she/her) is the Deputy CEO of Spectra, where she leads monitoring and evaluation strategies to ensure data-driven decision-making and impactful programme delivery. With over 20 years of experience in HIV prevention and public health, Dee has dedicated their career to working with marginalised communities, including men who have sex with men (MSM), sex workers, and people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA). Dee’s expertise spans data management, capacity building, and strategic planning, making them a pivotal leader in strengthening the effectiveness of Spectra’s diverse health and wellbeing programmes.

Dee began their career in 2003 at the Chinese National Centre for HIV/AIDS Control, contributing to the Round 3 Global Fund HIV/AIDS programme and shaping the country’s response to the epidemic. In 2009, Dee earned an MPhil in Evidence-Based Social Intervention from Oxford University, honing skills in research, data analysis, and evidence-based practice.

Since joining Spectra in 2010, when it was still known as the West London Gay Men’s Project (WLGMP), Dee has been at the forefront of efforts to measure and maximise organisational impact. Dee remains committed to ensuring Spectra delivers meaningful, measurable outcomes that support the health and wellbeing of the communities it serves.
