Joel Robinson

Joel Robinson (he/him) became Spectra’s CEO in November 2024. He has worked in senior leadership roles in the HIV and sexual health sector for over 25 years. Most recently, he was Acting Co-CEO and Director of Services at METRO charity; he previously held positions at National AIDS Trust and Terrence Higgins Trust. Joel is also a trained psychotherapeutic counsellor and has worked in the broader mental health field. Joel is a leader within the LGBTQ+ community and an ordained Buddhist. He runs LGBTQ+ meditation classes, retreats, and training programmes on gender diversity and inclusion and identifies as a queer trans man.
