Trans Empowerment Programme Podcast

The Trans Peer podcast is a peer-led space created by and for trans, non-binary and gender-diverse people. It builds on the conversations already happening in our social groups and mentoring spaces, offering a way to share those voices more widely.
Each episode centres lived experience and topics are shaped by what we’re hearing directly from our service users and community, so reflecting real conversations, current challenges, and shared experiences. These often include:
  • identity
  • transition
  • mental health
  • community, and
  • navigating systems like healthcare.

The aim isn’t to be clinical or overly polished; it’s to be honest, accessible, and grounded in what people are actually going through.

Episodes are short - around 15 minutes - and released quarterly, making them easy to engage with while still offering something meaningful. Guests include community members, peer mentors, facilitators, and others connected to trans wellbeing and inclusion.
