About the Role

This trainee therapist role offers free psychosexual counselling to the community, offering welcoming and affirmative spaces for individuals who may have struggled to access support elsewhere. Trainees see an average of 4 clients a week for individual counselling, over 6-week periods, online & in-person. A placement at Spectra offers the unique opportunity to network with other professionals, participate in outreach activities, wider training opportunities and to collaborate on knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualification required

To hold a minimum Year 1 of a Level 4 Diploma or equivalent in psychosexual and relationship and to have been signed off to begin client work by the training institution. To be a registered student member of COSRT (College of Sex and Relationship Therapist professional body) and to adhere to the requirements of the COSRT code of ethics and practice.
