Chris Howard

Chris (he/him) is the founder of Chris Howard Marketing, a fractional marketing consultancy working with recruitment and HR-services businesses, and joined Spectra’s Board of Directors in September 2026. He spent seven years as Executive Marketing Director at LACE Partners, a UK HR and payroll transformation consultancy, where he built and ran the marketing function single-handedly from scratch, covering brand, content and demand generation. Before LACE, Chris held senior marketing roles at Aquis Search, an international recruitment scale-up, and SEC Recruitment, a private-equity-backed recruiter, and spent time at the REC, the UK’s recruitment trade body, where he founded a Marketing Leaders community and held P&L accountability for Brand Partnerships.
