As part of the recent new Provision of Integrated Clinical & Non-Clinical HIV Prevention Service in Hillingdon, we now offer services in the Uxbridge, Hillingdon and surrounding areas of the borough. One of our valued locations and partners is HART (Hillingdon Aids Response Trust).
We offer various services from their private premises on Windsor Street, Uxbridge, these include:
First Saturday of the month:
11:00am to 2:00pm – A FREE drop in session for rapid HIV Testing, free condoms and sexual health advice and information, including details about PrEP and PeP.

Third Sunday of the month:
3:00pm onwards. Hillingdon Trans Group – A well-received forum fulfilled by Spectra’s designated Trans Outreach Workers every month for Trans people in and around the Hillingdon borough area. Designed to enable people to meet others in a safe and relaxed setting. Each session includes social time and an activity. Past activities at other meetings have included make-up demonstrations from MAC Cosmetics UK, short film screenings, topical discussions, presentations from local agencies and others. At every session there are:
- free light refreshments
- an opportunity to learn more about Spectra, it’s services and how to get involved in supporting other trans people
- come on your own or bring your friends and/or family
- changing facilities available and wheelchair accessible.
The Hillingdon Branch is the latest of the groups run by Spectra’s designated Trans Outreach Workers, the West London and Soho Trans Drop-in Group meetings are also free and have been successfully running for over four years.
Soho Group takes place on the first Thursday of every month, 19:00 – 21:00, at the St Anne’s Church, 55 Dean Street, W1D 6AF (nearest tubes: Tottenham Court Rd, Leicester Square).
