What it offers
Our Family Support Social Care service provides personalised, confidential support for people living with or affected by HIV and their families. Our experienced team works alongside individuals, parents, carers, partners and loved ones to help them navigate everyday challenges, access essential services and improve their overall wellbeing.
We understand that HIV can impact many areas of life, including relationships, housing, employment, finances and emotional wellbeing. Through a holistic and person-centred approach, we help people build confidence, overcome barriers and access the support they need to live healthy, fulfilling lives.
Our support is in-person and focuses on what matters most to you. This may include:
- Family relationships: Strengthen family connections and navigate relationship challenges.
- Housing and accommodation: Guidance with housing needs and accommodation options.
- Benefits and finances: Help to understand what benefits you're entitled to, manage finances, and access available support.
- Education, training and employment: Explore learning, training, and employment opportunities.
- Parenting support: Practical guidance and encouragement for parents and carers.
- Health and community services: Help to access healthcare, community resources, and local support.
- Advocacy: Support at meetings and appointments to help your voice be heard.
