Karen Skipper


Responsible for overall management, governance and funding of Spectra, reporting to the Board of Directors.

Karen has worked in sexual health for over 25 years, starting at the National AIDS Trust in 1992 before moving to the International Community of Women Living with HIV and finally to the West London Gay Men’s Project (WLGMP) in 1995.  In 2012 Karen took WLGMP out of its Local Authority host to set up independently as a social enterprise, creating Spectra.



Taking place on 26 November 2017, the World AIDS Day Red Run is a 10K or 5K charity fun run through Victoria Park, East London.
