Gianluca Failla

HIV Prevention Co-ordinator (GMI)

Responsible for coordinating HIV prevention services for the GMI Partnership, including outreach and rapid HIV testing in gay saunas, pubs and night clubs across London.

Gianluca started working in health & well-being promotion in London in 2014 as a volunteer mentor for kids, and support worker for people with learning disabilities and mental health problems. Prior to this, he had been working in customer service, and Volunteering as Social Worker and Malaria Prevention in two different charities in Ivory Coast since 2012. His role within the organisations included providing advice and information to HIV+ people, distributing safer sex resources in cruising areas and providing HIV prevention and awareness workshops for at risk groups such as minority ethnics and people held in prison, amongst others.



Taking place on 26 November 2017, the World AIDS Day Red Run is a 10K or 5K charity fun run through Victoria Park, East London.
