Simon is a Director at SAS Institute, an analytical software company. They are the de-facto standard for clinical trials data submitted to government bodies globally. SAS support the UN in nationhood development projects and delivering healthcare intelligence and bio-surveillance programmes to inform epidemiological efforts to combat outbreaks like SARS and Ebola.
Simon is responsible for identifying key analytical techniques and technologies deployed in the private sector that could be applied to government services, enabling public-sector customers to work smarter, do more with less and deliver better services. A thorough understanding of UK public sector issues and themes thus complements his broad commercial experience.
Prior to SAS, Simon was deployed in various countries and roles as a British Army Officer for 8 years following his graduation in Physics at the University of Bristol.
