This report details the findings from a series of focus groups and survey sessions run by Spectra CIC in 2024 to investigate the preference of young people in Southwest London towards their sexual health services. The report finds that despite current low awareness and use of existing services, young people want varied online and offline options for their sexual health. The key influential factors discussed are awareness, access and privacy. The report finishes with some brief recommendations for future programmes.
Spectra is grateful to the Southwest London boroughs of Richmond, Wandsworth, and Merton for commissioning both this report and Spectra’s ongoing service provision.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to each of the participants in the surveys and focus groups for their valued contributions.
