Sexual Health Strategy Consultation
The London Borough of Merton (LBM) and Merton Clinical Commissioning Group (NHS, CCG), working alongside NHS England, are responsible for commissioning sexual health services across Merton.
To inform the planning and development of these services the CCG, in partnership with the council are developing a joint 5 year sexual health strategy which sets out how our partners and key stakeholders (including GPs, pharmacies, NHS trusts, community health organisations and schools) will work together to ensure everyone in Merton has good access to sexual health services and are supported to be healthy.
These services include: access to contraception; testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections; information & advice; support for relationships and sex education in schools; and HIV prevention services.
To inform the development of this strategy we are gathering information regarding the knowledge and experience of sexual health services of those who work, live, are educated in or are looked after by the London Borough of Merton and seeking feedback on our proposed vision, priorities and actions.
To do this we are conducting a consultation exercise with residents, parents and the Merton workforce, including those who work with children and young people.
If you would like to take part in this consultation exercise please follow the attached link below. It should take no more than 5 minutes of your time, your answers will remain anonymous.
